They fall off a bit when you get into big worms and big/behemoth biters, but by then you generally have other tools at your disposal. Had to test something out... poison grenades STACK! I am starting to encounter Medium Worms and one poison grenade will do 300 to it (out of 400 hp), but two grenades at the same time will work even though it seems like it would be a debuff --- "Salt cures Everything!"
