Topic | What's your credit score? |
captpackrat 04/28/23 9:28:02 AM #12: | One of the biggest factors in your credit score is the average age of your accounts. You want to get a credit card from a reliable institution at as young an age as possible and keep that card for as long as possible. You don't need to use it but a few times a year (just to keep it active, buy a pack of gum or a candy bar or the like. You don't need to carry a balance.) Opening a new account will kill your average, but the older your oldest account is, the less this will hurt you. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
