That's not necessarily how it works. Hosting GaaS is much more complicated than it sounds, it isn't just 1 component, it's many small components working together. So some parts of the whole may overlap (especially stuff outside the game itself, like player authentication and file server for updates) and there are definitely ways of balancing or prioritizing traffic to deal with the extremely high load during the first day of a GaaS. --- This is my new wife.
