The main problem I had with Vrains while it was airing was that it was boring and Playmaker was a boring protagonist, so maybe the dub's added comedy might help make it better. Or at least take it into "so bad it's funny" territory. Even putting playmaker aside the storys, world's, lore and especially characters were all done poorly. With Blue angel being the worst offender character wise. By the end you barely knew anything of vrains, it's rules, locations and so on.
