I just had to archive a bunch of stuff the other day to make room for TotK, and the whole time I was thinking "Gigabytes are cheap, why the hell do I have to do this???" Nintendo seems to have much better control of this (at least if you buy physical). I have at least one PS4 game that takes up over 100GB even though I have the physical copy. You're right though. I don't really get why I needed to buy a $20 SD card for the Switch to have a decent amount of storage.
