Still need to explore the restaurant scene in Scottsdale. I know about the 44's, but those are really ritzy ha ha.


If you're at all into scenic nature shit, I recommend Monument Valley. It's about a 5-ish hour drive from Scottsdale, IIRC. I went there earlier this month.

It's on the Navajo reservation, and it's like $8 per person in a car to do about a 17 mile scenic drive. You can also go on more expensive guided tours, but I felt like the scenic drive was enough for my first time out there. Here are just some of the pictures I took:

One warning: If you do the scenic drive, I recommend using a car that has a higher clearance than a sedan. The road is unpaved, and there are a lot of rough parts of the road. My friend did it in his sedan, but he was going like 5 mph to try to avoid scraping bottom lol.
