If they were happy enough to cast RDJ and Josh Brolin despite their chequered history I doubt Marvel is that fussed about the backlash. Hopefully they'll surprise me.

RDJ had been sober for almost five years when he made Iron Man, and continued to be on his best behavior when Disney took over Marvel. If he were still going through those same issues while playing Tony Stark, it might have turned out differently.

Compare that to Majors, whom allegedly committed some of these acts while under contract with Marvel (not to mention that one of the possible victims was an employee on the film he worked on). I'd be more surprised if they didn't take action with that context in play.
