ChatGPTis literally doing nothing new or innovative, but everyone is experiencing what can only be described as mass hysteria and claiming AGI will be here this year. No? ChatGPT is actually pretty awful at what it does. When its not spitting out just straight up wrong information, its just copying and pasting Wikipedia articles and rewriting them at a third grade level. It cant even answer basic questions, and you really have to push it to get even halfway towards a useful response.
