It's fine if you want to be a stay at home partner. But the whole "tradwife" thing is stupid. Especially the part about emulating the 1950's... You know, the time period where women barely had any rights. Had limited control of their own earning, couldn't buy or sell property, etc. Because they were basically treated as property of their "superior" husbands.

So it's bizarre to talk about not being lesser than their husbands, while simultaneously emulating a time period where women were treated as lesser than their husbands. You can enjoy being a housewife without making these contradictions because you're focused on a very specific lifestyle.

Lets also keep in mind were passing judgment based off how it is being presented by people on TikTok and is (most likely) not based on any sort of reality.
