My take on 'rape fantasy' is that it's the world's biggest misnomer, not to mention an inherent oxymoron. It ultimately boils down to the fact that plenty of women do have deep-seated erotic fantasies of being overpowered and dominated, as long as it plays out according to their own whims; most of these fantasies would be at home in a cheesy romance novel or film noir, where the subject is, for instance, captured, knocked out with a rag, tied helpless to a chair, and quickly ends up falling for her dashing bad-boy captor.

So the actual massive-air-quotes 'rape fantasy' that most people have is just bdsm with a hefty dose of roleplaying. Sadly the term isn't doing the concept any favors, and naturally leads to wild (and completely understandable) misinterpretation.

Well yes that's why it's a fantasy. Rape where you're in control the whole time isn't a real thing, hence it's a fantasy. Trying to disassemble the fantasy from the rape is kind of like saying movies don't actually have rape scenes because everyone is consenting to everything in them and no rape is actually happening.

Which is exactly the point of the rape fantasy as well as any other roleplaying. You just act out the fantasy because it's wrong to do it for real.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."
