Why/what's the motivation? Wouldn't she still hate him more than anything? Also, does that mean the Tie fighter attack + them blowing up her castle was all part of a ruse? A ruse contingent on Din Djarin witnessing it, coincidentally right after she rescued him from Mandalore? Would that elaborate a ruse really be necessary?
I know the rules of tv mean that whoever's working w/ Gideon is a Mandalorian we've already met but I really don't think it'd be Bo Kattan, and would also like to think not the Mandalorian covert which as this episode noted, lost a lot of their comrades via Gideon's purges...?
Ideally, in lieu of a Mandalorian we haven't met yet, how about Bo Kattan's allies from those two episodes last season (Sasha Banks!!! and uh, some guy), I don't remember the S2 finale but I think they both survived and I don't think this season addressed what happened with them? Could Gideon have made one or both of them an offer they couldn't refuse after they captured him & before he was handed over, or something?
Well knowing the way these plots go sometimes, it'll be the big guy with the big gun who's behind it...
