If you want to make a big stink, do it in a way that may not kill people. Block access to government buildings. Block opposing politicians in their driveways. Disrupt large facilities. Doing this shit on the roads just makes them look unhinged (though radical protesting in itself does that to some extent) and puts people off.

Many of the people who say this do not actually believe this. When Supreme Court justices tripped rights away from millions of people last year, people responded by peacefully protesting outside those Justice's houses. You would have thought people

People do not like disruptive protests, no matter how justified they are. The entire civil right movement proves that. The reactions to climate protests themselves prove that as literally the planet is at stake and yet people have clutched pearls at every single visible or potentially status quo altering method I've seen.
