If you don't mind me asking, do you go through any negative side effects? Like I said, I've been thinking about trying edibles since they're going semi legal in MD, but hesitant looking at my sister.

She's always been on some kind of psychosis, but since smoking weed it's like she's gotten far worse and way more frequent.

TBH the other reason I've been hesitant to touch edibles is because of my job. Work DoD as a contractor, and the government workers want to bring me on board some time this year (no ETA yet) possibly. Paranoid the moment I try edibles the new position is finalized, but I fuck up and fail the drug test.

I'm 100% ignorant to anything about weed.

I appreciate anyone chiming in really on your personal experience. Trying to come at this with a more open mind.

You can definitely have a panic attack, never happened to me, but I've seen it. I've seen people freak out and question what's real because they hadn't yet seen the world through an existential lense. Of course, you don't need drugs to do this, and you don't need to worry if you've really reflected on yourself and the world. It can stay in your system for several weeks, especially when in edible form. If you have a potential drug test coming up, it's best to wait.
