I'm figuring the Top 5 will be, in some order,

Green Day
Tool
Elton John
Black Sabbath
David Bowie
IMO American Idiot, 10000 Days, and Black Sabbath are the shoo-ins, to the point where I almost expect them to be our top three. As for the other two, I'll guess jagged little pill and Rage Against the Machine.

Also, let's see here...

Palimpsest: I think its lyrics are very cleverly written, part of a meticulous narrative in general. To me, PtH are clearly good at switching up the tempo and delivery too, and each vocal song has a markedly memorable moment or two, but the sound here still isnt for me.
Sucker Punch: I was comparatively very positive during its week, but my relisten proved something of a comedown from that ceiling.
Rooms of the House: There's lots here I still don't get, but I've latched onto the parts that make me think of people I'm close to, and the intimate sentiment they carry with them.
Fever: Enjoyable enough but felt too workmanlike and nondescript to really stick with me, I guess.
