Vietnam was pretty bad too in terms of never being able to relax because you could get ambushed pretty much at any time while away from base from an enemy looking to fuck you psychologically as much as physically. At least in the world wars you had some semblance of where and when the enemy would come. I actually don't know anything about Russians in WW2, enlighten me?
