Alien is fine. They are literally filming the next one now with Fede Alvarez directing and it sounds pretty promising. Theres also that Noah Hawley show. Also people online seem to forget that the last two films in that franchise both reviewed well and were profitable. What actually threw a spanner in the works for Alien was the Disney purchase but theyre past that now.

Anyone saying yes hasnt watched any of the Disney Plus shows. The Mandalorian alone is far better than the majority of Lucass work, if not all of it.

Well, lets not forget that The Mandalorian is building off of The Clone Wars, which George Lucas was showrunner on and actually very involved with even though he didnt write or direct. He pitched basically every arc and was there through the entire process. It is probably his best work if we look at the whole of it. This really drives home how he is the ideas guy not the person you want doing everything.
