Man that's awesome, rarely I see an owl on a fence post, or swoop down at night when i'm driving, but never got anywhere near this close. yeah it was fucking crazy. It was clearly agitated by my camera flashes but I stayed close by, and as I moved around, I moved in a semi-circle around the fence based on its position so that I seemed less of the a threat and I kept low also. I wanted to get as many good chances to get close as possible. It surprisingly stuck around. Even after my last pic when it went up into a tree, it was tree along the same sidewalk and it watched me as I went on my way, and I looked back for a good while too, hoping I could convey a message of respect and appreciation. There was a good amount of eye contact throughout. I was just like "please don't fly off before I get pics..." the whole time lol ... Copied to Clipboard! |
