Sure, they suffer catastrophic losses at every turn and most of their experiments end in disaster, but no matter what, they always gain something from it. Through their battles with Samus, they reverse engineered the beam tech. They were eventually successful in cloning metroids, and they did succeed in infusing themselves with phazon in a relatively short time. They're not necessarily intelligent in the same way that the Chozo are, but their cruelty in experimentation does yield tangible results. --- A hunter is a hunter...even in a dream [She/they] ...
