Has anyone done a "Rank Your Favorite Christmas/Holiday movies" topic before? Might be a good one for a seasonal ranking at some point.

I also had another idea that I'm not sure would work but we could do a "Rank Our Favorites" topic where we submit some favorite movies, non-specific to genre, anonymously and then rank them. I hadn't decided if I wanted to do one where we actually submit movies we think are great artistically or guilty pleasure movies or a mixture of both.

Typically when making lists I try to include a little bit of everything within a genre. The critical darlings, blockbusters, personal favorites.

Holiday movies can extend beyond December... Groundhog Day, Independence Day Halloween, etc. Then again, most holiday moving are set around December.

I like the "Rank Our Favorites" idea. If everyone submits 2-3 movies, that can get interesting.

Other ideas I thought of (not sure if they've been done before):

• Sports Movies: Rocky, Million Dollar Baby, The Natural, Bad News Bears, Moneyball, Caddyshack, Jerry Maguire, etc.
• Pre-2008 Superhero Movies: Basically anything before Iron Man & Dark Knight)
• Black Mirror Episodes (mini-list... I'm looking for a good excuse to rewatch these)
