If you play it as I do, as a regular ARPG, then you'll find that you're hopelessly outclassed by challenges designed for people who theorycraft builds for the meta and grind them out laboriously with the loot system. The one saving grace is Extra Mode, where you have infinite MP and stamina, but that's a heavy-handed countermeasure and you're not always permitted to use it. The key point is, the base game is not like this, not to this extent.
