Yeah, he's...an interesting card. He kind of does what Yondu does, except worse, because they both shrink the opponent's deck (which has a chance of being good or bad depending on which card goes), but Yondu makes the card unplayable at least.

Mordo has like an 80% chance of making the card worse, but also like a 20% chance of making it the same or better (drawing a 6-cost card just gives your opponent free card draw, or like the Death example it's literally improving their performance overall)

Most people don't run Mordo for that reason, but certain deck types might like it for the memes.
That's why I don't play Yondu. More often than not he just eliminates a card that your opponent doesn't want/need and makes it easier to get what you want/need.

He's taken out my Ultron many times, but then I just use Onslaught ontop of Blue Marvel and Kazar.
