They gave the talents options to pay for their models outright and keep everything as a result so they could stay afloat. I think Miori was the only one who actually did. Several months later she was taken from indie with said model/name in to Tsunderia, and is now indie again. So her and her model have been through two what are essentially "career enders" in the biz and she's still doing fine.
