For context, WWE tends to rebrand people who were wrestling in other companies even if they were doing so under their real name, so they can control merchandising rights.

Well there is the case of what happened with Miori Celesta where she got to keep her model after Tsunderia went down and went indie, which is kinda funny considering one of Miori's friends DID "rebrand" into a bigger corpo, if I'm understanding the term correctly.

But yeah I don't think someone being able to keep their old model once they become a corpo vtuber is something that happens often, though my impression is that most probably don't want to rebrand their old vtuber/non-vtuber identity and instead go with a new one and keep the two separate because of instances like this of having something to fall back on.
