Yeah, I don't get this take. Phoenix and Apollo still looked like incompetent idiots in their second cases, too, and nobody says their character development is irrelevant.

It's the only case that makes me verbally frustrated when I play it because the case against Machi has zero merit and somehow Apollo is utterly incapable of pointing this out the entire time (see, Apollo is incompetent beyond his second case, too!).
