I actually had to restart a bit after that simply because my secondary objective of "defeat all enemies (that give EXP/have drops)" became pretty much impossible once that happened lol. Though it's possible I would have had to rewind a lot to actually be able to even win given how poorly positioned I was for all that. --- May you find your book in this place.
