Yes that's exactly it. There are some Yo-kai that only exist in a specific area and has like 1% chance of showing So you spend a lot of time just entering and quitting that area/resetting the game (whichever is faster) until you find that specific monster, AND THEN you have something like 10% chance to befriend it (even after giving it food it likes) It once took me 6 hours to get a specific Yo-Kai (Edit - looked it up, pretty sure it was Pookivil) Not to mention the crank-a-kai exclusive monsters which are also a massive timesink As someone with a complete living dex in Pokemon and that completes the regional dex im every game, I am pretty sure I can make a new living dex from scratch and that will probably take me less time to complete than to get every Yo-Kai in YW1 Also thanks for that long post DragonGargoyle! --- wololo ...
