Alien life somewhere? Almost certainly, statistically. Have they been flying around in small ships in our atmosphere for decades in such a manner that they are mostly hidden without otherwise making contact? That seems...unlikely.

Space is super enormous and intelligent life is as best rare. I think it's most likely that humanity is on its own for as long as we exist as a species. ...which is probably good, given that the risk that some other civilization would want to conquer us probably outweighs the risk that they would give us helpful technology. If they are advanced enough to cross space and come here they would be setting the terms of our relationship.
