If you're going to say you hate everyone, everyone is going to remember you for that, and likely treat you accordingly. So whether you are "truly" a misanthrope ends up being academic given other people will form their perceptions of you based on those interactions. From my perspective, none of you are "real". Soon as I logout, you cease to exist and I don't have to worry about you. But I know that I would hate you irl. That's why I stay inside, it's for everyone else's benefit.
