And another one!

#20: Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein - C

Was this movie good? I honestly don't even know. It was more interesting. It was like this weird little bit of film history that I didn't even know existed. Bela Lugosi is in this? Holy shit that's legitimately nuts. Imagine if in Not Another Super Hero Movie Robert Downey Jr. showed up to reprise his role of Iron Man.

I said this already in another write-up, there is a certain time where comedy movies just do not work for me anymore, and I feel like that time is at least 20 years after this was made. I know I sound like a stupid boring zoomer that can't enjoy any of the hip classics that paved the way for things to come, but a lot of the jokes in here were pretty painful to sit through. Not everything and I did think the mix of horror and comedy worked about as well as I could've hoped for going in. Not too much actual horror and not too much actual comedy but like in close enough proximity to either that I was at least able to sit through this.
