Owner of Chick-Fil-A literally donates to organizations that push against LBGTQ rights. It's the practically the same situation with JK Rowling and Hogwarts Legacy.

No one got bullied to the degree that people are getting bullied over Hogwarts Legacy so somehow it only matters when it comes to video games.
Because on the one hand, you have a generation raised on the presumed principals of inclusivity in the Harry Potter series feeling betrayed by the author, on top of a generation of social media stars chasing every single fad.
While on the other you have a fast food company that's always been explicitly Christian.
It's like asking. "Why doesn't Chick-fil-a have a theme park section in Universal?"

There's rational discussion around Harry Potter and Chick-fil-a, and there's irrational discussion around them - from both sides of the fences. Then there's school kids who are breaking toilets and licking ice cream in grocery stores who lack a fundamental understanding of the parasocial relationship between them and social media.

And, btw, I do have a friend who has been kicked out of my friend group because of his support for Chick-fil-a. And he deserved it...
