The implication I have to rate this one high, because of the implication. One of my favorite, and probably one of the most well known, bits in the show. Before The Gang Buys A Boat, we had seen glimpses of Dennis being a complete sociopath, but this might be the first true showing of his depravity that's not just played for a joke. The fact that his entire goal of buying a boat was to get women in a situation where they can't say no is both incredibly dark and hilarious. Mac sells it well by going from trying to understand what he means to being frightened by the explanation. Tie it all in with them thinking they're going to be the tasty treats to a bunch of sea scum and you have one of the best sunny moments. BetrayedTangy posted... Denim Chicken My second favorite joke from Charlies dream book. I will always have a soft spot for a bird with teeth, both the picture in his book as well as the taxidermy version they gave him. The way Charlie looks at the cooked chicken in jeans and awkwardly says "Denim Chicken?" is good for a laugh though. I know this is about denim chicken but I actually have a shirt with his drawing of a bird with teeth on it, and I have legitimately looked up if I can find some fan made version of the taxidermy thing to buy and display. Decent call backs in later episodes to his Mantis persona but nothing more than a one off joke that gets some laughs because of how ridiculous it is. Him having that realization face every time he decides to call himself Mantis is fun. Overall, it's overshadowed by how great the rest of that episode is. Mobilezoid posted... Jack Bauer the junkyard cat God damn it Jack Bauer, you really are the man... I like to joke that Dennis has always been a "cat person", if you know what I mean. Either way, that cat distracts me every time he's on screen because he's so adorable. I'm also a huge 24 fan so him saying lines like "Let's get you back to CTU Agent Bauer" or "He has a name. Agent. Jack. Bauer" brings me back to early 2000s SeabassDebeste posted... frank's brother don't have much to say about this. If you're asking me about his actual brother, meh. If you're asking me about the episode as a whole... Shadynasty is a decent joke? Lump me in with the people who think this is one of the weakest episodes if not the weakest.
