| CJones 02/20/23 10:30:02 PM #256: | Hey, if you do listen to The Great Escape by Seventh Wonder, I would recommend looking into the story that it's based on. It's called Aniara, and it's an epic Swedish poem from 1956 (Seventh Wonder is a Swedish band). A very short summary of the plot would be that it's about a spaceship fleeing the imminent destruction of Earth. The ship is critically damaged by a meteor, and is knocked out of the solar system with no way to get back. They spend the next 30 years drifting through the dark. Everyone goes crazy. Really depressing, so maybe right up your alley ;) There are at least two movies based on it, neither of which I've seen. I think they're both in Swedish. The more recent one is from 2018, and I've been meaning to watch it. I hear it's fairly mediocre though. Be warned, the song is 30 minutes long. --- Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn't have to do it. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
