If I've watched this episode recently, I'll probably find myself imitating the "fingers to temple" gesture Ross does every time he says "Unagi." I did it right now, and perhaps you did, too, as you recalled it...! I've never had unagi before, but I'm not a big sushi guy. The best part of this episode might actually be the end where Ross asks the self-defense coach how to escape from his moves so he can attack his ex-wife, and Ross plays it completely straight despite the guy clearly thinking he's unhinged. Unagi doesn't have to be sushi, in fact it's most often eaten as not sushi and it's not eaten raw.
