| Inviso 02/14/23 9:50:22 AM #26: | Maryanne and Taylor winning together (honestly, alongside Kim & Penn, Lia, and Danny for Challenge USA because fuck Sarah getting a bigger monetary win despite finishing in a DISTANT second place)...2022's seasons on this list were just so much stronger than the 2021 half. Ultimately, I think what gave Maryanne the edge for me was that, in addition to being unexpected and much needed (how many nerdy guy superfans had to win before we FINALLY got a nerdy superfan woman to win), I just appreciated her as an individual character. Taylor was a genuinely nice person, but I feel like a lot of my enjoyment of her was more due to her underdog status in the season, rather than her personality as an individual.
