Nah. There's no double standards here at all. Not that I'd expect anyone here to actually give thought to it. Simply put, neither Mihoyo or Wei are using their outreach of millions of people to push a genocidal agenda. Nor are they doubling and tripling down on it. Nor are they going through Weibo and liking things that say "Uyghurs should stop existing"

CCP members themselves are just regular people, many of whom disagree with official hardline stances but are literally legally unable to voice this dissent. If your business employs 100 or more CCP members you have to register your business as a local party that is allied to the CCP.

Absolutely nothing changes within the company when this happens but it's great fuel for fearmongers.
