He kidnapped and adopted an invisible baby on a whim rather than make any attempt at all to find her parents. And that's not even an example of him being impulsive when they had no way of even finding the parents. You're not "kidnapping" a lost baby when you find it in the middle of nowhere and take it in yourself when you have no way of locating the parents; that's just you being a kind-hearted person. Ultimately it was for the best that the baby with a Stand be raised by someone who also had a Stand.
