They're putting a lot of work into setting up the next generation of MCU characters since contracts are expiring and actors are getting old/losing interest. It only feels like it's been longer since the last big team up movie because there's so much more MCU content per phase now. There have also been smaller-scale crossovers all over Phase Four.
