Topic	Watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for the first time. spoilers

Episode 2 has Haruhi force some guy to grope a girl so she can take pics to extort a PC out of him. When the rest of his friends say that they will verify that he did nothing and was being blackmailed, Haruhi says she will report them for gang raping her. In those words. All while silly music is playing in the background. I was expecting a little more of a light hearted comedy. Not a rape extortion angle <_< It's supposed to be light hearted but way over the edge. Like uh, maybe some things haven't aged well at all, but that's kinda part of the craziness of Haruhi.
