Is Melody a CRINGE name for a child?

• When she sounds like a cat in a blender
• When her character is anything BUT harmony
• When her presence invokes panic rather than rhythm

It's right up there with "Joy" and "Hunter". Sometimes the names don't seem like they really fit the specific person at first glance. And some of these people become adults with names that are the antithesis of their daily behavior. Parental naming conventions don't always appear to make sense for long term, i get it.

However, sometimes parents name their kids for personally unique instances that happened early in life. For example "Melody" could refer to not the child's actual character, but instead of how she fell sleep listening to certain music.
