This country is too far stuck in the two party system to break out of it anytime soon. Democrats are the lesser of two evils, far lesser to the point where anyone says both sides bullshit are just Republicans. Trying to vote third party is going to split the vote allowing Republicans to win, but luckily hopefully just maybe the orange idiot will fracture the Republicans enough so we can choose a third party.
