The first game I truly finished this year is Resident Evil 8: Village.

I'm currently going through it again on NG+. Having the RE4 Style Inventory + a new Merchant was nice addition. Tracking down all of the missed items and etc. lead to find treasures I missed, along with meeting the remaining cooking recipe conditions on the second time through.

The main village is where things can be missed the easiest, since the main areas outside of the buildings do not have the *exploring* and *searched* designation to tell you you've found every single item.

Item and ammo crafting is a nice addition too. Unlike RE4, enemies don't generally drop ammo, as money or treasures are their primary drop types when defeated, so the crafting system can at times fill these gaps when necessary.
