Glad you liked it so much! I agree that it could use more songs. The main one, Searching for the Full Moon, is awesome, but variety would be nice. The other thing I was a little disappointed by was Mitsuki surviving in the end. I mean, I get why they did it, but a tearjerker ending would've been nice too.

I was surprised at how much I loved it. Everything was consistently charming, and it had a great mood the whole way through. There were comedic moments where the shinigami were in their stuffed animal forms getting swept up in a zany situation. Then there were serious moments too, and somehow the two moods never felt conflicting. It was impressive, and just overall a really nice anime to watch. Definitely a worthy addition to my top ten.

I didn't mind Mitsuki surviving. Eichi and the heartbreak of the few episodes after that was tearjerking enough for me. Plus I was glad Mitsuki and Takuto found each other in the end... though I hope he was reborn as a sixteen year-old at most because if he's his actual age, their relationship is a thirteen year-old and a guy who is like twenty-four.
