It's a turn-based game so high fps isn't a necessity, and the game maintains a consistently smooth 30 fps throughout. Never had a single dropped frame in my 300+ hours with it. Up to you whether you prioritize higher fidelity graphics and visuals over portability. For me personally, the persona style of visual novel + turn-based combat + dungeon crawling in segmented sessions of gameplay, lends itself perfectly for portable gaming. I only play in handheld mode so I'll think about it.
