Fireworks can bring people together and they happen maybe twice a year, so the event feels special. This is one way how you build communities with positive feelings towards each other. I see people doing practically everything they can to isolate themselves and some are offended that anyone would want to talk or even look at each other, then get upset when no one wants to help during a crisis. Have neighborhoods bond over events like New Years celebrations and youll notice an improvement overall.
Even if you agree with this, you can do the same thing without the overly loud dangerous ones.
