Don't make my mistake, I went out of my dad's room to make a call and wandered down the hall. After about 15 minutes of standing there talking on the phone, I noticed I was standing right in front of the open doors to the Intensive Care wing, where I'm sure all the worst Covid patients are. I was like, "fuck."

It was also weird to be sleeping in a chair next to two huge Covid air purifiers. Like every night I bumped my head against the duct work. It'll be a Christmas miracle if I don't start showing Covid symptoms in the next day or two.
