As you say, the premise is excellent, which was enough to hook me throughout. I considered changing the recommendation as the write-ups went on to something that might appeal better to your tastes, but I'm glad I stuck to it. I read that another animation studio is coming in for season 2 alongside the current studio. I take that, and the fact it survived Netflix's animation purge, as positive signs for the future.
