The really bad part of the antibiotics is the possibility of developing C Diff. I've had it 3 times which then led to developing IBS. Yeah, I really suspect it in my case. I hadn't heard about the link until this year when I saw a new doctor but it all makes sense. I was on antibiotics almost constantly as a child until I got my adenoids removed.
