| Topic | Had to suddenly say goodbye to my best bud, oldest "dog-son" yesterday |
| ChaosTonyV4 12/20/22 7:25:06 PM #1: | He wasn't really moving much over the weekend, so yesterday morning we dropped him off at the vet to see what's going on. After about $1000 in xrays, bloodwork, and care, the Vet said he was in advanced stages of congestive heart failure. He had just had full bloodwork and labs a few months ago after a bout of pneumonia, so this was extremely sudden. He said his quality of life would be poor, and even if we paid another $1500 for continued supplemental oxygen and care, he would probably not last long, so we had to say goodbye. I cried a lot, and then had to immediately turn around and go into work, it felt awful.
