I mean not automatically. You apply for your green card which is a giant stack of paperwork and documents and pictures you have to gather. Plus interviews and biometrics appointments. Then after 3 years of marriage you can apply for citizenship but its another giant stack of paperwork, interviews and tests. We got lazy with applying for it because its so much work and we didnt want to spend thousands on an immigration lawyer.

Im Egyptian born in Canada but living in the US for over 10 years now. First on a TN visa for work and then green card.

Oh you were born in Canada. I did not realize that.
What part of Canada?

Also, I don't know what a TN Visa is....but I still don't have an enhanced license.
I've never been to Canada, but I've been through at least three border crossings.
~That was just NY and USA being extra.

I love my Canadian neighbors...but their air can fuck off right now.
It's freaking cold now, and it's all their fault!!
