My Rin and Nadeshiko figures: https://imgur.com/9UXcgji

Premise: Shima Rin enjoys going camping, and she often heads out on solo trips during the winter. Then one night she helps a stranded girl named Kagamihara Nadeshiko, and their encounter awakens a love of camping in her as well.

The Good: Laid-Back Camp is a relaxing slice-of-life about camping. There are five main girls. The first is Rin, an introverted solo-camper who spends most of winter riding on her motor scooter to different campsites. She helps out the energetic Nadeshiko one night, which leads her to embrace the fun of camping too. Nadeshiko joins the schools camping club, meeting Chiaki and Aoi. Rin's friend Ena also sometimes joins them with her adorable dog Chikuwa. All of them have fun personalities and good dynamics with each other.

The best thing about Laid-Back Camp is that it has the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Theres never any real conflict or drama. Its just calming auras while watching these girls live their lives and go camping. Watching this anime is like snuggling up under a warm blanket. I wouldnt call it a comedy, but it has some amazing jokes. I usually hate food porn, but watching these girls cook and enjoy delicious meals on their trips was always nice. There are also educational bits where they teach the viewer about things like how best to start a fire, and those contribute to the laid-back atmosphere too. The art style makes everything look really pretty. Im one of the least outdoorsy people imaginable, and this anime still made camping look like a fun time.

The Bad: Laid-Back Camp is flawless, at least at being the kind of anime it sets out to be. Anyone looking for a compelling plot or deep character development wont find it here. If you want good vibes, though, I cant think of anything better.

Overall: Laid-Back Camp is my favorite relaxing anime. The five cute girls always create the perfect atmosphere on their camping trips. Watching them visit beautiful wilderness locations, set up their gear, and then hang out while eating delicious food was mesmerizing. It also managed to have some poignant moments too, mostly about the importance of appreciating things and enjoying life. If someone is having a bad day, this is the perfect anime to cheer up with.
